Американо-панамские договоры
Два компромиссных соглашения о судьбе Панамского канала [Panama Canal] - договоры о Панамском канале и о постоянном нейтралитете и функционировании канала, подписанные США и Панамой 7 сентября 1977. Ратифицированы Сенатом США [Senate, U.S.] в 1978, в Панаме одобрены на плебисците в 1977. Предусматривали денонсацию всех ранее заключенных по каналу договоров и соглашений, ликвидацию Зоны канала [Panama Canal Zone], упразднение соответствующих административно-правовых органов США, вывод американских войск до 31 декабря 1999, увеличение ежегодной платы Панаме за пользование каналом, а также постоянный нейтралитет канала, за сохранение которого несут ответственность обе страны
